Stillman, James
(9 jun. 1850, Brownsville, Texas, EE.UU.–15 mar. 1918, Nueva York, N.Y.).

Banquero y financista estadounidense. Inició su carrera profesional en un establecimiento comercial de Nueva York. En 1891 se convirtió en presidente del National City Bank (ver Citigroup), poco tiempo después de que la familia Rockefeller obtuviera una participación mayoritaria en el banco. Durante su gestión y pese al pánico de 1893 logró que el banco prosperara al duplicar con creces sus depósitos y convertirse en el banco predominante de EE.UU. En 1897 fue el único banco capaz de financiar la reorganización del Ferrocarril Union Pacific. A su muerte dejó una enorme fortuna personal.
